Popular recording Dancehall artiste, Tommy Lee Sparta has announced signing a new multi-year management contract with Boss Lady Muzik, a new music record label based in Los Angeles and Jamaica.
Leroy “Tommy Lee Sparta” Russell started releasing music in the early 2000s and with his passionate energy, it didn’t take long for him to elevate to prominence in Dancehall. His debut songs including ‘Spartan Story’ which was released in 2008 did not to go unnoticed by his growing fan base which originated from his hometown of Montego Bay, Jamaica’s second city.
In 2010, his music prowess was acknowledged by Adidjahiem ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer as a member of the ‘Portmore Empire’ crew. Tommy Lee Sparta further earned his respect in Dancehall with hits like ‘Warn Dem’, ‘Some Bwoy’ (Link Pon Wi Chain), ‘Uncle Demon’ and ‘Buss A Blank’. By 2012, he was headlining some of the island’s top billed shows including Reggae Sumfest and Sting. The artiste has since enjoyed an uphill musical journey having released several successful EPs and recently completed his Europe Tour in December.
